The Minnesota Timberwolves are facing the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night in the second half of a back to back. Minnesota has released their injury report for this game, and star guard Anthony Edwards is not listed, meaning he is available to play.

The Timberwolves continue to shock the NBA world, holding down the top spot in the Western Conference much longer than most people saw coming. Getting off to a great start, Minnesota is beginning to prove that it was not just a hot streak. Each week they remain atop the conference reinforces that they are a serious threat.

As for Memphis, their season has been completely flipped upside down due to injuries. While the Grizzlies entered this season knowing they would be without Ja Morant for the first 25 games due to his suspension from the NBA, they certainly could not have predicted all of these injuries.

After playing just nine games this season, Morant is out for the remainder of season due to shoulder surgery. He is joined on the sidelines by several other top Grizzlies players, including Desmond Bane who is sidelined for at least six weeks due to an ankle sprain.

While the Grizzlies likely have no chance at making the playoffs, they have a lot of players who compete hard and can give any team trouble.
