Houston Rockets forward Dillon Brooks has been going at LeBron James for a while now, most notably calling out the Los Angeles Lakers star during last year's playoff series between Los Angeles and the Memphis Grizzlies. While Brooks is no longer in Memphis, he is still embracing that villain role, and once again was ready to go at James when the Rockets faced the Lakers earlier this week.

While some people enjoy Brooks' antics, and believe they are good for the league, Lakers forward Rui Hachimura slammed Brooks following LA's win over Houston, saying he just wants to be a part of LeBron's legacy.

"Whatever [Dillon Brooks] is doing, it doesn't do anything to [LeBron]... Brooks, just wants to be a part of [LeBron's] legacy, I guess."

Brooks is set to face the Grizzlies for the first time in his career on Wednesday, and will almost certainly have some antics for them as well, having already shared bold words for his former team ahead of that matchup. While Brooks can certainly rub people the wrong way, he is unapologetically himself, and plays the same way every game.

After years of being in the lottery, the Houston Rockets wanted to bring Brooks in to establish a level of intensity they had been lacking for a while. Off to a decent start, the Rockets seemed to have been benefiting from his presence.
