Despite the Memphis Grizzlies being without most of their usual rotation, including their star trio of Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, and Jaren Jackson Jr., they were able to defeat Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night.

This was a brutal loss for Milwaukee entering the All-Star break, as their struggles under new head coach Doc Rivers continue. Speaking with reporters after the game, Rivers shared a statement that has been going viral on social media, saying, "We had some guys here, some guys in Cabo."

Suggesting that some of his players have already checked out and are ready for the All-Star break, Rivers made this statement after the game. For Milwaukee, they certainly have not earned the ability to be checked out of any games, as they have already lost their spot in the second seed to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and are in danger of being overtaken by the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers as well.

The margin between Milwaukee and the teams behind them in the standings continues to shrink, and the gap between Milwaukee and the teams ahead of them continues to grow. The Bucks are fortunate that the Knicks have lost four-straight games, but they are still just barely above New York in the standings, and Philadelphia is not much further back.
