Slowly but surely, the Memphis Grizzlies are starting to get more and more healthy. First, it was getting Ja Morant back. Now, they're one step closer to getting Marcus Smart back.

The Grizzlies revealed that Marcus Smart has been upgraded to questionable against the New Orleans Pelicans with a left foot sprain. This is huge news because Smart has been either listed as out or doubtful every single game since November 14.

The last game that Marcus Smart played for the Memphis Grizzlies was on November 14 against the Los Angeles Lakers. He only played 8:25 before going out of the game with his foot injury. He's only played 11 games for the Grizzlies this season, averaging: 12.5 points, 5.0 assists, and 2.5 rebounds on 43/29/81 shooting.

It's going to be very interesting to see Marcus Smart and Ja Morant take the court together for the very first time. Smart brings a certain level of intangibles that makes for great winning basketball on a successful team. It wasn't necessarily translating for the Grizzlies before Morant returned, because the team was just too shorthanded. Now, that the team has figured out how to win, Marcus Smart's impact should be felt much more.

The Memphis Grizzlies face off against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday, December 26. They just went against New Orleans last week in a 20-point comeback win, and it likely won't be any easier tomorrow.
