Grizzlies vs. Lakers Injury Report Revealed
The Memphis Grizzlies are in Los Angeles to face the Lakers on Tuesday night, and they will once again be without Ja Morant. The star point guard remains away from the Grizzlies as the NBA investigates the extent of his actions in Colorado, which include flashing a gun on Instagram live.
With Morant out indefinitely, the Grizzlies will also be missing Brandon Clarke, Steven Adams, and Vince Williams Jr. who were all ruled out in advance. The only other player on the injury report for Memphis is Jake LaRavia who is questionable with back soreness.
For the Lakers, they are once again without LeBron James, but Anthony Davis is probable to play. D'Angelo Russell has been upgraded to questionable with a right ankle sprain, and Mo Bamba is ruled out with an ankle sprain.
After a tough loss to the Clippers, the Grizzlies are looking to bounce back against a shorthanded Lakers team. The Lakers are trying to hold onto their playoffs hopes even with LeBron James sidelined, and they will need Anthony Davis to continue dominating in order to do so.
The Grizzlies are trying to sustain themselves during the potentially extended absence of Ja Morant, as he faces a lengthy suspension if the NBA determines he violated a certain gun policy.
As they showed in the third quarter vs. the Clippers on Sunday, Memphis has enough to compete with anybody, and will look to take down the Lakers before heading back home.
