The Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors always have a little extra for each other, but this particular matchup might be more contentious than ever. Draymond Green recently destroyed Dillon Brooks on a podcast episode after Brooks made it clear in an interview that he did not like Green or the Warriors. With Green's response coming just one day before the two teams are set to meet again, there will almost certainly be some sparks in this one.

Before the game begins, there are absences to report for each side, starting with Ja Morant for the Grizzlies. Still away from the team for his actions in Colorado, Morant will miss this game and at least three more. The other players listed out for Memphis are Steven Adams, Vince Williams Jr., and Brandon Clarke. Jake LaRavia is listed as questionable for Memphis with back soreness.

For the Warriors, they will be without Andrew Wiggins, Gary Payton II, and Ryan Rollins. Andre Iguodala, Jonathan Kuminga, and Kevon Looney are all probable. Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green are all available.

Outside of the storylines, this is a a major game for both teams. The Warriors are in danger of falling back into the play-in picture, while the Grizzlies are in danger of undoing much of the work they've done to be near the top of the Western Conference.

The Warriors and Grizzlies will tip-off at 4:30 PM PST.
