Several NBA stars have their own youth teams, and it looks like Morant is the latest to create one. It seems reasonable to assume that Nike will have a level of involvement in Morant's new AAU program, as the Grizzlies star is one of their most popular athletes right now.

Especially popular among youth players, Morant's signature Ja 1 Nike sneakers have taken the youth basketball scene by storm, and are often worn by top college and NBA players as well. There are a lot of possibilities for Morant and Nike to work together to build up his new AAU team, and it seems likely that additional information will be released soon now that Morant has announced the start of the program.

Despite being out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, Morant is still making moves off the court. This has been seen with his signature sneakers, and now with the launch of his own AAU program for youth basketball players.
