Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant continues to release new editions of his Nike Ja 1 sneaker. One of the latest to get revealed is the "Baylor University" colorway that features Baylor's yellow and green colors, along with their BU logo on the shoe's tongue.

Reacting to these new shoes, Grizzlies star Desmond Bane asked Morant when he is coming out with TCU colors:

Bane of course played at TCU for four seasons before being drafted 30th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft. One of the best picks in that draft, Bane has emerged as a star for Memphis, averaging 24.4 PPG this season before going down with an ankle injury that has sidelined him since January.

In a response to Bane, Morant seemed to suggest that a TCU colorway could be coming:

Morant has been with Bane on the sidelines due to his season ending shoulder injury, which has really defined this entire season for Memphis. While there was some momentum for the Grizzlies after Morant's return from suspension, that all went away once the star point guard got the news that he would be out for the season. When adding in Bane's extended absence, along with several other key players being in and out of the lineup, it has been a tough year for Memphis.

For now, Morant is still exciting his fans with new shoes, and Bane wants some TCU colors next.
