Jalen Brunson's Status for Knicks vs. Grizzlies Revealed /

The New York Knicks are set to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night, and star guard Jalen Brunson is being listed as questionable with a left calf contusion. Brunson has been incredible for New York this season, averaging 25.8 PPG, 6.4 APG, and 3.8 RPG. Doing so on very solid efficiency as well, Brunson is shooting 46.9% from the field and 42.4% from deep.

Brunson has yet to miss a game this season, having played in all 38 of New York’s games. Listed as questionable for this one, Brunson‘s final status will likely be revealed shortly before game time.

The Knicks are going up against in incredibly shorthanded Grizzlies team that will be without almost all of their best players. Steven Adams, Santi Aldama, Desmond Bane, Brandon Clarke, Ja Morant, Derrick Rose, and Marcus Smart have all been ruled out for Memphis, and Jaren Jackson Jr. is listed as doubtful.

With all of these players out, New York certainly expects to win this game, even if Brunson cannot go. That said, the Grizzlies play hard, and will have a lot of players out there who are playing with something to prove.

The Knicks needs wins to stay above the play-in picture, so these are games they have to take care of business in. This should be a very interesting game in Memphis on Saturday night.
