It was truly an electric slam from Figueroa, who reacted to it after the game when speaking with the media. While he initially didn't think it was the best dunk of his basketball career, Figueroa admitted that after seeing the replay, it just might be his best.
"The guys was just talking about it in the locker room. I told them it wasn't my best dunk, but I had just seen it and it might be my best dunk," Figueroa said.

It was certainly a hard dunk to top, because it had the elevation, hang time, and power behind it. Combing all three of those elements in a put-back dunk is hard to do, but Figueroa made it happen. Summer League is always an exciting time for young players, and highlight plays like these make it that much more fun.
While Figueroa had the highlight reel finish, the Grizzlies blew the Lakers out, winning by a final score of 100-69. Both Jake LaRavia and and David Roddy had great performances for Memphis, combining for 41 points on great efficiency. In addition to his viral dunk, Figueroa was LA's leading scorer, finishing with 15 points off the bench in the loss.
