Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant returned from his 25-game suspension on Tuesday night, and he immediately made NBA history. With his 27th point of the game, Morant broke the record for the most points by a player after missing at least 25 games.

Making this history would have been impressive enough, but Morant also hit an incredible game winner, which LeBron James reacted to on X (formerly known as Twitter):

With all of the hype surrounding Morant's return, the Grizzlies star rose to the occasion with this performance. It would have made sense for Morant to be rusty, but he was electric in this game - especially in the second half.

The Grizzlies trailed big in the first half, but a roaring comeback made this one of the most exciting games of the season. Morant went off in the clutch, and finished off his dominant performance with an incredible game winning layup while being defended by a very good defender in Herb Jones.

Morant is one of the most electric players in the NBA, and he showed exactly why in this return game. The NBA world has certainly missed the Grizzlies star, and performances like this are exactly why. Not only did Morant post an impressive line, but he went off down the stretch, and finished it off with the game winning basket.
