Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic received a technical foul after saying something to Memphis Grizzlies forward Vince Williams Jr. during Monday night's game. When asked about this after the game, Doncic revealed his message to Williams, and also spoke on their back and forth battle.

"He was just talking sh-t the whole time," Doncic said. "I told him, 'I wish they let me play one-on-one.' That's when I got a tech. So I don't know - the refs gotta just let us talk. It's a part of the game. I love it. I think he is a great defender, but the refs - last game I didn't do nothing and we both got techs. This game we both talk, and I got the tech only. I don't know. The refs gotta just chill on that part."

Doncic is one of the NBA's most prolific trash talkers, always being vocal on the court. Williams did not back down from the superstar guard, talking back, which is why Doncic was confused by the decision to only hand out one technical foul.

Revealing his message to Williams, Doncic told the Grizzlies forward he wishes they could play one-on-one, which is when he was handed a technical foul. The Mavericks were able to defeat Memphis behind a solid performance from Doncic, who finished with 35 points.
