Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is now just one game away from his return. Having served 24 games of his 25-game suspension, Morant is more than ready to get back on the court and help his team turn this season around.

Morant has the support of his organization, teammates, and fanbase while he nears his return, and he also has the support of Grizzlies legend Marc Gasol. Wearing Morant's signature Ja 1 Nike sneakers, Gasol received a message from the star point guard that he responded to on X (formerly known as Twitter):

This was a really cool interaction to see, as Gasol is one of the greatest Grizzlies players of all time, and Morant of course is on that same trajectory. Still embracing the city of Memphis, even after his playing days, Gasol is excited to see Morant back on the court.

It has been a very tough season for the Grizzlies, who have not only dealt with Morant being suspended, but have dealt with several different injuries to key rotation players. As these injuries have piled up, the Grizzlies have remained near the very bottom of the Western Conference.

It has been a tough start to the year, but the Grizzlies are optimistic that Morant's return, along with the return of some others, can help them make a push towards the playoffs.
