Memphis Grizzlies vs Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report Revealed

The Grizzlies are shorthanded but have a rest advantage.

The Memphis Grizzlies are shorthanded again as they face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but they'll have the rest advantage tonight against the number one team in the Western Conference.

The Grizzlies have seven names listed on their injury report: Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Marcus Smart, Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, Jake LaRavia, and Derrick Rose. Ja Morant is out with a right shoulder labral tear, Desmond Bane is out with a left ankle sprain, Marcus Smart is out with a central slip tear on his right ring finger, Steven Adams is out with right knee PCL surgery, Brandon Clarke is out with left Achilles tendon repair, Jake LaRavia is out with a left ankle sprain, and Derrick Rose is out with a left hamstring strain.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have three names listed on their injury report: Jaylen Clark, Leonard Miller, and Josh Minott. Jaylen Clark is out due to right Achilles tendon rupture rehab, Leonard Miller is out on a G League assignment, and Josh Minott is out on a G League assignment. Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert, and Karl-Anthony Towns are all listed as available.

Regardless of the rest advantage, tonight is going to be an incredibly hard game for the Memphis Grizzlies. Make no mistake, the Minnesota Timberwolves are an incredibly good basketball team and the Memphis Grizzlies are still an incredibly shorthanded basketball team. Despite missing four players from their starting lineup, Memphis still found a way to win their last game against the Golden State Warriors, and they'll need that same type of miracle tonight.

The Memphis Grizzlies face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves at 10:00 p.m. EST tonight.
