Desmond Bane was listed as questionable tonight with a foot injury and was ultimately listed as available tonight, but it turns out, he played through the injury.

Bane struggled tremendously tonight against the Phoenix Suns, putting up only 6 points on 3/12 from the field and 0/5 from three. He had as many turnovers as made baskets in 34 minutes of basketball, which was absolutely brutal.

“Obviously I’m not 100%, but that’s no excuse," Bane said to the media. "You go out there on the floor, your job is to perform and be at your best, and I wasn’t at my best today.”

Even though Bane is injured, he plans on playing every single game he can for the Grizzlies. Still, his game requires a certain level of explosiveness around the rim, and if he can't explode, it's going to be a very tough night for him.

“That’s my MO, period," Bane said to the media. "If I can play, ima play every time.”

Up next for the Grizzlies is the red-hot Minnesota Timberwolves. Fortunately, the Grizzlies have some time off between games and only play two basketball games in the next five days: Timberwolves and Jazz. Neither of those games are ones that the Grizzlies should be favored in, but hopefully, Desmond Bane can recover by then.

The Memphis Grizzlies face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday, November 26, at 6:00 p.m. EST.
