Memphis Grizzlies vs LA Clippers Full Injury Report
Sunday night will be a very interesting game for the Memphis Grizzlies. Fresh off of a loss against the Denver Nuggets, and huge controversy with Ja Morant, the Grizzlies face the most desperate team in the NBA - the LA Clippers.
The Grizzlies will be missing a multitude of players for different reasons against the Clippers on Sunday night. Ja Morant is out due to a two-game suspension because of his gun controversy, Brandon Clarke is out with a left Achilles tear, Dillon Brooks is out due to a suspension for receiving his 16th technical foul, and Steven Adams is out due to a right knee PCL sprain.
The LA Clippers will be missing Norman Powell due to a left shoulder subluxation, and Brandon Boston Jr., Moussa Diabate, Xavier Moon, and Jason Preston all due to being in the G League. Additionally, Ivica Zubac is questionable with right calf soreness. If Ivica Zubac is missing, it will open up the paint tremendously for the shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies; the Clippers' paint defense has been disastrous without Zubac.
While the Memphis Grizzlies can't really catch the Denver Nuggets anymore in the standings, the Sacramento Kings can still catch Memphis. A loss against the Clippers would put the Kings only one game behind the Grizzlies for the second seed. Sunday night will be a very interesting game for the Grizzlies. It'll be a battle of a shorthanded team versus a very desperate team.
