In a recent article from Jonah Dylan of the Memphis Commercial Appeal, Memphis Grizzlies rookie GG Jackson detailed the learning experiences he has had this season, and more specifically what he has learned in his matchups with superstars like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kawhi Leonard.

"It's a learning experience," Jackson said, per the Memphis Commercial Appeal. "With Kawhi, see how he gets to his spots. With Giannis, see how he uses all his intangibles to his advantage and hopefully I can take little pieces of their game and try to add them to mine."

Jackson has been one of the biggest bright spots in a difficult season for the Grizzlies. Several injuries have opened up opportunities for players like Jackson to get extended run in the rotation, and few have taken advantage of it the way he has.

Earning himself a standard contract due to his impressive play, Jackson will be around Memphis for a while, and projects to help their team even once Ja Morant and others get back from injury next season.

Learning from stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kawhi Leonard, Jackson is picking up every bit of knowledge he can just by watching his star opponents go about their business. This is key to developing as a rookie, and Jackson seems to understand the importance of growing each day.
