Memphis Grizzlies rookie GG Jackson missed the team's last game due to violation of a team rule.

This update came shortly before game time, but it looks to be just a one-game absence for Jackson. The Grizzlies have released their injury report for Wednesday night's game against the Houston Rockets, and Jackson is not listed, meaning he should be available to play.

It is worth mentioning that Jackson was not on the injury report vs. New Orleans despite being ruled out due to the violation, but it seems likely that the decision to hold him out came after the initial injury report was released the day prior.

The youngest player in the NBA, Jackson is still trying to find his way in the league both on and off the court. Playing great in his minutes this season, Jackson earned himself a guaranteed contract that will keep him in Memphis for the next few seasons.

The Grizzlies have been very pleased with what they have gotten from Jackson this season, which is why they made the decision to give him a standard contract. While this has been a very frustrating season for the Grizzlies, the emergence of players like Jackson is certainly a bright spot, and could be something that benefits the team as early as next season once Ja Morant and others return to the mix.
