Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry rested vs. the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night, but head coach Steve Kerr told reporters that the star point guard will make his return on Monday night vs. the Memphis Grizzlies.

Golden State fell to Milwaukee in Curry's absence, but were much more competitive than people anticipated. This game against the Grizzlies will be an interesting one, because while it is nationally televised, it is certainly not the game the NBA was expecting when they placed it on TNT.

The Grizzlies are of course without Ja Morant for the rest of the season, and he is joined on the sidelines by several of his top teammates who are also injured. The Grizzlies and Warriors have played a lot of great games over the last several seasons, often with some noticeable tension between the two sides, but that will almost certainly not be the case for this game.

While much of the intrigue for this game has been removed due to injuries, there is still some importance for both teams. For the Warriors, each game matters as they try to climb back into the playoff picture. For Memphis, while their playoff hopes are likely long gone, they have a lot of players who are getting their first real extended minutes at the NBA level, which is always important.
