The Miami Heat recently acquired veteran guard Terry Rozier from the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for veteran point guard Kyle Lowry. Rozier is currently listed as questionable on Miami's injury report, but in a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic, it was announced that Rozier is expected to make his Heat debut on Wednesday night against the Memphis Grizzlies.

There is always a stretch of time between a trade going down and a player making their debut, as physicals must be completed in order for a deal to become official. In the case of Rozier and the Heat, it seems all of that has been taken care of, and he will make his debut for Miami on Wednesday night.

This was a big move for Miami, who will essentially be swapping Lowry for Rozier. While Lowry did some good things for Miami during his time there, the Heat felt he was no longer the right option for their starting point guard job, and dealt him for Rozier. While Rozier has his limitations as well, he is still a very productive guard, averaging career-high 23.2 PPG this season for Charlotte.

In his five seasons with the Hornets, Rozier averaged an even 20 PPG, which the Heat are hoping will fit in nicely on their team next to Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and the rest of their rotation players.
