Lamar Odom Refers To LeBron As "God James"
In high school, former Miami Heat player Lamar Odom was considered the LeBron James of his generation.
Things didn't go quite as planned once Odom made the NBA but he had a decent career. With James easily surpassing his accomplishments, Odom recently took to praise the Los Angeles Lakers superstar in a recent interview with TMZ Sports.
"God James. His name is God James," Odom said. "The god of basketball," he said to TMZ Sports. "As long as we healthy, we're gonna win a championship.
James, who won two championship with the Heat, is going for his fifth title. That would move him one closer to Chicago Bulls great Michael Jordan, who is often considering the only player better than James in history.
The Lakers open the Western Conference playoffs today against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round.
