Late-Night Workout Could Mean Good News For Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler

Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler posted an encouraging workout video on Instagram ahead of Saturday's Game 3 Against New York Knicks

The status for Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler for Game 3 against the New York Knicks remains in doubt but a late social media post could a positive sign.

Butler posted a video of him working out on Instagram that looked encouraging.

Still, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said there was "no update" on Butler's condition for Saturday's game. His injured ankle that caused him to miss Tuesday's Game 2 remains evaluated on a daily basis.

"I’m not going to get into all the minutiae of it,” Spoelstra said. “When we find out how he is feeling on Saturday, we’ll let you know. That’s what the deal is.”

The positive is Butler has three days off to rest. That gives him more time than the usual one or two days between games.

The Heat and Knicks are tied at 1 in the best-of-series. The winner plays the Boston Celtics or Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference finals.
