A few months ago, Miami Heat fans were clamoring for their team to tank instead of make the playoffs so they could have a shot at landing the No. 1 pick and draft Victor Wembanyama.

The Heat ended those hopes by making the play-in tournament and have since advanced to the Eastern Conference finals. On Tuesday, they were preparing for the Boston Celtics while the rest of the NBA world waited for the San Antonio Spurs to win the No. 1 pick in the lottery. It means the Heat have to face Wembanyama twice next season.

The 7-foot-2 Wembanyama is considered the best NBA prospect since LeBron James in 2003. Most analysts call him a generational player. He was so talented the league live-streamed many of his G League games, so fans could witness his ability.
