Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler has awed throughout the played because of statistics.

His teammates know his impact goes much farther than that.

After Butler had 35 points in Wednesday's Game 1 victory against the Boston Celtics, Kyle Lowry said there's more to it than just numbers.

"He gives us all the confidence to be successful and be aggressive and assertive," Lowry said. "That's what makes him special, that he's not all about him. It's about our group and our team and everyone else."

The fact Butler can fill the stat sheets while also motivating the team is what separates him from other superstars.

"That's what he does," Lowry said. "He's one of the best players in the world for a reason."

The Heat and Celtics return to action in Game 2 Friday.
