Veteran announcer Kevin Harlan is one of the most thrilling and recognizable voices in the sports world.

But more specifically, his audio to the Miami Heat and Dolphins games last season were admired by many.

Jimmy Butler’s 56-point performance was one to be marveled on any occasion. But what made it even better was Harlan’s play calling, as Butler’s go-ahead fourth-quarter baskets will be remembered by Harlan's energetic diction through it all.

He also called the Eastern conference finals, documenting everything from Butler trash talking Grant Williams to Caleb Martin's 26-point Game 7 performance.

Another moment was the Dolphins’ 21-point comeback against the Baltimore Ravens during Week 2 of the NFL season. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had a career game with six touchdowns, facilitating a 28-point fourth quarter. The excitement and intensity of this game was reflected in Harlan’s voice.

Some are now calling for him to be the spokesman for all Miami sports going forward.

It was probably refreshing for fans to hear someone express admiration in their teams, given that neither was favored in their respective game.

Hopefully, Harlan can call a Damian Lillard game-winning shot to clinch the Eastern conference next season.
