Lakers Notes: LA Re-Signs Austin Reaves, D'Angelo Russell; Adds Free Agent Lottery Pick
Rob Pelinka strikes again!
In this story:
Your Los Angeles Lakers pretty much wrapped up their free agent frenzy yesterday, inking their incumbent starting backcourt of point guard D'Angelo Russell and shooting guard Austin Reaves to two of the team's three priciest new deals (power forward Rui Hachimura, signed yesterday is earning more than Reaves). LA also added a new backup center, ex-New Orleans Pelicans big Jaxson Hayes.
Assuming new second round draft pick Maxwell Lewis inks a standard contract (and not, say, a two-way deal), the team has just two more spots available on its 15-man roster.
