Lakers News: How LeBron James Feel About LA’s Free Agency So Far

The King has given his thoughts.
In this story:

The Los Angeles Lakers have been very active to start free agency. They agreed to contracts with forward Taurean Prince, guard Gabe Vincent, forward Cam Reddish and center Jackson Hayes. They also resigned forward Rui Hachimura and guards D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves. This offseason was about keeping the core that just went to the Western Conference Finals together and they have mainly done just that so far.

Technically the future of star LeBron James is still up in the air due to him hinting about a possible retirement after the team was swept out of the postseason by the Denver Nuggets. But James posted some reactions to the Lakers moves on his instagram and they seemed fairly positive.

It was said that James would stay out of the decision making this offseason but nothing was done without consulting with James, let's be real.

If the King is happy, everyone wins. It's as simple as that.

The Lakers have made a ton of sensible and good value moves to start the offseason and it has helped them upgrade their roster. They added extra wing depth to the roster that should allow them to matchup with bigger teams and brought in some nice three-point shooters as well.

This should give LA a much better chance to go and get banner number 18 next season. There has been no official word on the retirement of James but many around the league don't believe it. James will likely be back with the team next season as he enters year 21 in the NBA.
