In this story:

1. MAGIC GRABS SEASON-SAVING WIN VS. PISTONS

"Needing a win over the Detroit Pistons to widen the gap between them and the 10th seed Chicago Bulls, Orlando responded - defeating Detroit 128-102 in its largest win of the season."

2. GREG ANTHONY SCARES MAGIC FANS

"April Fools' weekend is a prime opportunity to pull a prank on someone. And whether it was in spirit of the holiday or not, NBA TV analyst Greg Anthony definitely gave Orlando Magic fans a scare."

3. JAMAHL MOSLEY SOUNDS OFF ON ROOKIE OF THE YEAR RACE

"With all due respect, I don't necessarily think it's a race," Mosley said ahead of Friday's game. "The kid has done a great job of impacting winning. Being able to create a different style of play throughout the entire year."

4. NBA HAS NEW CBA

The NBA and Players Association agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to ESPN.

With the new CBA, the league avoids a lockout, which has not happened since 2011.

The new changes include a 65-game minimum to qualify for league awards, an in-season tournament and prohibition for marijuana testing for players.

5. NEXT MAGIC GAME

The Magic will return to action tomorrow night when Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers come to town. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. You can watch in-market on Bally Sports Florida or out-of-market on NBA League Pass.
