Magic Starting 5: Orlando Struggles Continue at Summer League

The Magic Insider lists five of the biggest NBA storylines in addition to relevant Orlando Magic news and analysis.
In this story:

1. MAGIC BLOWN OUT "The Magic kept things close in the first quarter, but the wheels began to fall off in the second. The Pacers outscored the Magic 34-17 in the second quarter to take a 23-point lead into the locker rooms. From there, Indiana cruised to victory."

2. CALEB HOUSTAN DOES THE RIGHT THINGS “He’s very calm. Voice doesn’t get too high, doesn’t get too low. I think other guys just feed off that, the way they kind of feel them on the floor. He gets a bunch of shots early. He’s not celebrating too much. Gets back on defense, you know, pulls over as low man does all the right things.” Murphy said."

3. GOOD PROBLEMS "I think our front office did a really good job putting together a strong Summer League roster," Summer League head coach Dylan Murphy told media after Sunday's practice. "They gave me a good problem to have."

4. GARY PRAISES FULTZ "He was a No. 1 pick for a reason," Magic guard Gary Harris said on the Club 520 Podcast. "He's up there with [Nikola Jokic] with his passing and feel, Markelle is such a selfless player too. He's literally just getting guys involved and just putting pressure on the defense, he's doing whatever the team asks and do it with a smile on his face every time."

5. MAGIC NEXT SUMMER LEAGUE After losing its first two games, the Orlando Magic hopes to grab its first Las Vegas Summer League win against the Indiana Pacers. Tipoff is scheduled for Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN.
