NBA 2024 Title Odds: Where Does Magic Rank?

The Orlando Magic's odds to win the 2024 NBA championship don't bode well.
In this story:

The Denver Nuggets are NBA champions for the first time after beating the Miami Heat in a five-game series.

Now, the other 29 teams are left shaking their heads as they try to re-group and get ready to unseat them in a year from now.

The Orlando Magic is now one of just 10 teams to never win an NBA championship, and the chances for the team to leave that list in 2024 isn't great.

BetOnline released betting odds for every team's chance to win the 2024 NBA Finals and the Magic was listed at 150/1 to win the title.

The Magic was tied with the Indiana Pacers for the fourth-worst odds. Only the Washington Wizards (200/1), Charlotte Hornets (300/1) and Detroit Pistons (400/1) had worse odds.

Surprisingly, three teams drafting ahead of the Magic in next week's draft were given better odds than Orlando. The San Antonio Spurs (No. 1), Portland Trail Blazers (No. 3) and Houston Rockets (No. 4) all are listed at 100/1 odds to win next year's NBA Finals.

Unsurprisingly, the Nuggets are favored to repeat as champions at 4/1, while the Boston Celtics (13/2), Milwaukee Bucks (8/1), Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns (9/1) round out the top five.
