ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic is celebrating a perfect 3-0 homestand after taking care of business against the Brooklyn Nets.

The Magic came into this game with a little more rest than the Nets, who were playing their second contest in less than 24 hours. Orlando made sure to take advantage of that.

While things were slow for the Magic in the first quarter, Nets guard Mikal Bridges was hot, scoring 19 of his game-high 44 points.

Orlando picked it up in the second quarter, outscoring Brooklyn 36-26 to take a nine-point lead into the locker rooms. That lead doubled by the end of the third quarter thanks to effective play on both ends of the court. The Magic's lead grew to be as large as 20 points in the cruising victory.

Orlando tied a franchise record with eight players scoring in double figures. It's the second time the Magic has accomplished that feat this season, with the first coming on Jan. 4 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The win keeps the Magic's slim play-in hopes alive, but the team remains 4.5 games back of the Chicago Bulls for the 10-seed.

The Magic heads back out on the road Tuesday against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
