Magic Must 'Come Together' Ahead of Road Trip, Says Paolo Banchero
The Orlando Magic lost its last game in heartbreaking fashion to the Memphis Grizzlies, missing a potential game-winner, but star Paolo Banchero doesn't want that to be an excuse.
After the team's loss on Friday, Banchero talked about how the team needs to band together going forward, as the Magic will have one more game at home before going on a five-game road trip.
"We've just gotta come together as much as we can," Banchero said. "Pick up the communication, pick up the intensity, and get back to being together as a group. It's that part of the season where it starts feeling like a grind for a lot of guys including myself... We've just gotta fight through it and come together as a group."

The Magic is in the bottom five teams in the NBA in assists, only averaging 24.5 per game. The team knows that this number needs to be higher, as this core group of guys has been kept together so that they can grown and develop better chemistry. This upcoming road trip will serve as a big test for what this team can really do when presented with a challenge.
But before that, the Magic will be at home for one more game on Sunday against Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns fresh off of the star's 62-point performance. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. ET in the Kia Center.
