Mavericks vs. Spurs GAMEDAY Preview: How to Watch, Betting Odds, Injury Report
The San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks are both coming off thrilling wins over the weekend, but will have to get level-headed and put any emotions behind them ahead of Tuesday's rivalry matchup in the Alamo City.
San Antonio (15-53) took down the Brooklyn Nets, 122-115, in overtime in Austin on Sunday after another big performance from rookie Victor Wembanyama.
The Mavs (39-29) knocked the Denver Nuggets down two spots from No. 1 in the Western Conference standings thanks to Kyrie Irving's running left-handed floater at the buzzer for a 107-105 win in Dallas.
Luka Doncic and Co. have gotten the best of the Spurs in all three meetings this season. San Antonio will have to limit Dallas' star-studded backcourt as much as humanly possible in order to avoid the four-game season sweep, but the frontcourt of Dereck Lively II, P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford against Wemby could be the deciding factor for who wins.
