The Washington Wizards brought too much offense in Friday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs.

The San Antonio Spurs are in the loss column again after a 136-124 loss to the Washington Wizards Friday night.

The Spurs kept pace with the Wizards throughout the night, even holding a lead with seconds to go in the third quarter. However, the air fell out of the balloon in the fourth.

In the first six minutes of the final frame, the Wizards outscored the Spurs 22-8 and put the game out of reach.

San Antonio played well with Keldon Johnson leading the way with 30 points and 10 rebounds and Keita Bates-Diop adding 20, but Washington had too much firepower.

The Wizards shot 60 percent from the field and knocked down 15 threes, including six from Corey Kispert to help form a team-high 26 points. Kispert was one of four players to score 20 or more.

The Spurs do have positives to take away from this one, but in the standings and on the development side. However, the Spurs lacked the talent and defense necessary to pull out the win this evening.

But the road doesn't get much easier for San Antonio ...

The Spurs' road trip concludes Sunday with a game in Beantown against the Boston Celtics. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
