The San Antonio Spurs are looking for talent to surround Victor Wembanyama with, and they might be able to land one of top players of all-time.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has always commanded the most attention out of any other NBA player since he's been in the league, and for good reason. The 39-year-old is the league's all-time leading scorer, and he's won four titles while making a decade's worth of finals appearances.

Despite being in the final phase of his career, James is still putting up admirable numbers although the Lakers are underachieving with a 21-22 record. In 39 games, he's averaging 24.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7.5 assists while shooting 52.0 percent overall, including 39.2 percent from deep.

With the Lakers not living up to expectations after making the Western Conference Finals last season, speculation has been sparked about James' future, and that was only heightened with the latest betting odds being released.

According to BetOnline.ag, the Spurs are listed as the favorites to land James via trade or free agency signing if he decides to finish his career somewhere other than the Lakers. San Antonio leads the list with 3/1 odds. James' former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, are second on the list with 4/1 odds, the Chicago Bulls are third with 5/1 odds, and the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks are tied for the fourth-best odds at 6/1.

Although a star duo of Victor Wembanyama and James is enticing to think about, it's hard to imagine the all-time great deciding to finish his career on a rebuilding team if we're being completely honest. However, maybe the combination of Wembanyama's potential and Hall-of-Famer Gregg Popovich's coaching could pique James' interest.
