Washington needs to do three key things in order to come away with their third win of the season.

1. Limit Second Chance Points

The Wizards did a great job of this in the first matchup, limiting Charlotte to 12 second chance points on 11 offensive rebounds.

It is no secret rebounding the ball is a struggle for Washington but as long as they limit the damage they should be fine.

2. Shoot and Make Lots of Three-Pointers

Shooting three-pointers at a high volume is common in todays NBA and the Wizards are no exception averaging 35.9 attempts a game.

But in both of Washingtons wins they averaged 44.5 attempts making 38 percent from deep.

During the four-game losing streak they endured they only had on average 34.5 attempts per game only making 35 percent.

The more three-pointers the Wizards take the better off they are.

3. Control the Third Quarter

Washington has struggled coming out of half this year and it has been their achilles heel in games.

Against the Hornets they got out slow but then ended the quarter strong and ended up with an even 38-38 tie.

The Wizards need to come out and play good defense in the third quarter and not let a huge run get them in trouble as it has buried them in losses.
