New York Jets activate running back Stevan Ridley from PUP list
The New York Jets have activated running back Stevan Ridley off the Physically Unable to Perform list, the team announced Friday.
Ridley has been rehabbing from a season-ending knee injury he sustained in the Patriots’ Week 6 game last season against the Buffalo Bills. He was signed to a one-year deal over the offseason after four seasons in New England.
After the transaction, the Jets now have three healthy running backs this week—Ridley, Zac Stacy, and starter Chris Ivory. Bilal Powell has been ruled out with an ankle injury.

In a corresponding move, the team waived/injured wide receiver Chris Owusu after he suffered his second concussion of the season last week.
New York (4–2) visits Oakland (3–3) at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday.
