Cowboys’ Trevon Diggs Urges Brother Stefon to Leave Bills After Hot Mic Debacle
While Bills receiver Stefon Diggs hasn’t commented on the viral video of a team reporter speaking poorly about him ahead of his media availability on Wednesday, his brother, Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs, expressed his candid thoughts on the clip on social media.
The Dallas defender was not pleased with the video, and he even went as far to hint that he thinks his brother should leave the Bills.
“Tuh! They turn on you so quick,” Diggs wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Gotta get bro somewhere safe.”
The comments were later revealed to be made by Bills team reporter Maddy Glab, who posted an apology on social media after the video circulated. Here’s what the hot mic picked up Glab initially saying.
“There’s no control over Stefon Diggs,” Glab said. “Dude’s gonna do what he wants to do. He’ll look in my face and say ‘F you,’…that’s how he treats everybody.”
This debacle comes at the same time that Diggs’s future in Buffalo has become a hot topic of conversation. Diggs told fellow teammate Von Miller on Wednesday that he is “happy” to have Josh Allen as his quarterback amid reports of a rift between the two players. However, ESPN analyst Marcus Spears recently posed the question of whether Diggs will stay in Buffalo based on Allen’s recent performance.
Diggs also told Miller that people like to “dive too deep” into things, so only time will tell what will become of his future in Buffalo.
