Identifying the Bengals' Potential Targets in Rounds 4-7 of the 2023 NFL Draft

Cincinnati has five picks in the last four rounds.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — The Bengals have used their first three picks of the 2023 NFL Draft on defense.

After adding Myles Murphy on Thursday night, they picked DJ Turner and Jordan Battle on Friday.

Will they continue to add to Lou Anarumo's defense or is an offensive run coming? Here are some prospects the Bengals could target with their five picks in rounds 4-7 on Saturday:

Running Backs

Cincinnati is hoping to add at least one running back in this draft, but it didn't happen on the first two days.

The good news is there's still plenty of talent available.

The top running backs include Pittsburgh's Isreal Abanikanda, Roschon Johnson from Texas, Chase Brown from Illinois and ECU's Keaton Mitchell.

Northwestern's Evan Hull could also be on the Bengals' radar, along with Kansas State's Deuce Vaughn.

Other running backs still on the board include Zach Evans, Eric Gray, Sean Tucker and Deneric Prince.

Wide Receivers

The Bengals would love to add a quality wide receiver at some point on day 3. Getting faster on offense is ideal and there are a few guys that could help in that department.

Cincinnati's Tyler Scott was projected to be a second round pick, but is still available. He's drawn comparisons to Tyler Lockett and while he hasn't returned punts and kicks, there's reason to believe that he could start doing that in the pros.

Other options include Trey Palmer, Kayshon Boutte, Charlie Jones, Parker Washington, Grant Dubose, Jadon Haselwood and Xavier Hutchinson.

Other Positions

The Bengals could still add a tight end on day three. Josh Whyle, Zach Kuntz, Will Mallory and Davis Allen are some potential targets.

They could also make a run at Ohio State offensive tackle Dawand Jones. He was awful during the pre-draft process and his stock is dropping like a rock, but a team is going to be willing to risk it just to take a chance on his size and potential.

Other offensive linemen that are still available include Warren McClendon, Luke Wypler, Chandler Zavala Blake Freeland and Jake Witt.

There are also plenty of interesting defensive players still available, including Darius Rush, Cameron Mitchell, Jakorian Bennett and Cory Trice.

Also keep an eye on punter, where Michael Turk, Adam Korsak, Brian Robbins and Baringer are still available.
