Inside The Numbers: Joe Burrow Most Clutch Quarterback in The NFL
CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow is a cut above the rest of the NFL's quarterbacks when games are on the line. NFL analyst Warren Sharp broke down the eye-popping numbers this past weekend as the MVP candidate looks to capture his first Super Bowl during the 2023 season.
Burrow leads all NFL QBs since 2019 in EPA/dropback when trailing with less than five minutes in a game and he also has the best touchdown rate in that timeframe among any NFL QB since 2000 (10.3%).
The Bengals' assassin passer has taken victory from the jaws of defeat throughout his young NFL career and he'll probably have to do it a few more times over the next seven months to lift the Lombardi Trophy.
