CINCINNATI — The Bengals and Chiefs are currently the NFL's best rivalry. They've been the two best teams in the AFC in each of the past two seasons.

Netflix released a docuseries on Wednesday called "Quarterback." They follow three quarterbacks—Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota—to give a unique view of their on and off-the field life.

Mahomes revealed he wanted to play the Bengals in the AFC Championship Game after Kansas City beat Jacksonville in the Divisional Round.

"I think the Bengals are better but with all of those injuries on the offensive line, the Bills have a chance," Mahomes said in a postgame conversation with friends and family. "We match up better against the Bills, but I want to play the Bengals. I just want to play them because we haven’t beat them and I’m tired of them talking.”

Mahomes got his wish. The Bengals beat the Bills to advance to the AFC Championship Game. It set up a rematch from the 2021 season.

The Chiefs ultimately advanced, beating Cincinnati 23-20. They beat the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.

"Joe Burrow, he's gonna do whatever it takes to win that game," Mahomes said. "Every single time we go up against that team, I know it's gonna come down to the very end."
