Ja'Marr Chase Willing to Hold Receiving Corps Accountable: 'I Wanna Hold Everybody Accountable. I Wanna Be Great'
CINCINNATI —Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase touched on how arguably the best-receiving corps in the NFL keeps one another accountable throughout each practice rep with each other.
Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd like to sharpen one another to stay at the top of their games.
"Yeah, it's just accountability," Chase said to WCPO. "Making sure everyone's being great. Gotta hold everybody accountable. I told Tee that, you know, I say I'm always on Tee and I told Tee that, I want you to do the same thing to me, even though Tyler's the vet, I still be on him too just because he's the vet. It's easy for a vet to do whatever they want. I just don't want him slacking off. I don't want me slacking off, I don't want Tee slacking off. I wanna hold everybody accountable. I wanna be great."
Chase, Higgins, and Boyd have created sweet music together since Chase entered the league in 2021.
It's helped the Bengals rack up the NFL's fourth-most receiving yards over that time behind the Chiefs, Buccaneers, and Chargers.
