Joe Burrow 'Locked Into' Football Over Bye Week, Feeling '100%'

Cincinnati's offense is looking to level up against one of the better defenses in the NFL this weekend.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow was "locked in" on football over the bye week as he evaluated teams around the league and got to "100%" health.

"An extra week to get healthy feeling good, feeling 100%," The Bengals quarterback said about his calf strain recovery.

Fans can seemingly put that worry behind this team and expect a return to the elite form they've shown over the past two seasons.

Burrow discussed his routine on Wednesday as Cincinnati looks to win a third game in a row off a bye week.

"Our bye came a little earlier," Burrow said about the schedule change from prior seasons. "So you know your body and your mind is a little different. Not feeling quite like you needed a bye week. So I was a little more locked in on football this bye week than I would have been in past by weeks."

Cincinnati's best offensive player has struggled with accuracy this season, but he likely needs to be sharp as the Bengals enter Levi's Stadium to play San Francisco this weekend.

"Yeah, I feel really good. I feel really good," Burrow said. "So I'm excited about the upcoming weeks."
