Look: Drue Chrisman Updates Fans Following Medical Emergency

The punter was hospitalized this week.

CINCINNATI — Bengals punter Drue Chrisman has been absent from the team since the start of training camp as he recovered in the hospital from an unknown ailment.

Zac Taylor didn't offer a ton of information about the situation when asked about it this week but confirmed on Friday that Chrisman left the hospital.

"He's been great," Taylor said. "We communicated with him today but he's with some doctors right now. So I don't want to get too much into it, you know without having all the information but the good thing is the situation people took care of it quickly. He's been responsive. He's been talking to us. He's been in great spirits."

Chrisman updated people via Twitter/X from a hospital bed before he was discharged on Friday. He suffered a medical emergency at the team facility on Wednesday.

More from Taylor after Friday's practice below.
