Orlando Brown Jr. Eager to Get Back on Field, Continue O-Line Growth: 'We're Progressing Really Well'

Cincinnati needs more out of its offense moving forward this season.

CINCINNATI — Orlando Brown Jr. aggravated a groin injury during the Bengals 17-13 win over Seattle before the bye week but the starting left tackle sounds ready to roll for a big matchup against San Francisco.

Cincinnati's been fortunate to have every member of its fresh starting offense line group this season start all six games thus far.

"I don't know what the plan is necessarily," Brown said about practicing fully on Wednesday. "I got to talk to them still, but I feel great though. So we'll see."

Brown is ready to see the whole offense click during a tip to the Bay Area coming off the bye week.

Cincinnati's offensive line gets another round of snaps to gel this week. The unit grades out as the 12th-worst pass-blocking line by Pro Football Focus and ranks 18th in run-blocking grade on PFF.

"I think we're progressing really well," Brown said about the group's development. "I think the importance of understanding that the continuity of an offensive line man is honestly based on a lot of other factors. How well the quarterback is playing, how other receivers are playing, how the play calls, the system, the flow of the game. All of those things go hand in hand with offensive line success.

"You look at some of the great ones over the course of the NFL and all of those things kind of stand together with that. As an offense, man, we're coming along really well. Everyone's getting getting to that point where they want to be. Obviously, man Joe's (Burrow) getting healthy and being able to do what he needs to do as well."
