PFF Names Tycen Anderson, Raymond Johnson III to First Preseason Team of The Week

Cincinnati had some standout performers in the 36-19 loss to Green Bay.

CINCINNATI — Safety Tycen Anderson helped his case to make the 2023 Bengals roster with his two-interception outing this past Friday. It also earned him Defensive Player of the Week from Pro Football Focus.

Anderson finished the 36-19 loss with two picks and three tackles.

"The 2022 fifth-round pick out of Toledo had his best performance on an NFL field in the game against the Green Bay Packers," Gordon McGuinness wrote. "In coverage for 22 snaps, he finished with two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown, on his way to a 97.1 PFF coverage grade."

Bengals edge rusher Raymond Johnson III also made the team of the week after posting three tackles and one sack.
