Zac Taylor Offers Injury Timeline Surrounding Joe Burrow's Calf Strain
CINCINNATI — Zac Taylor spoke to the media on Friday and confirmed that Joe Burrow has a calf strain that will knock him out of training camp for "several weeks."
"Calf strain," Taylor said. "It will take several weeks and that's all the information we have."
Taylor then reaffirmed the several-week timeline when asked for clarity.
"Several weeks is several weeks," Taylor concluded.
The quotes at least hammer home that the worst-case scenario strain didn't strike Burrow. He went down with the non-contact injury during a rollout to his right in Thursday's practice. It marks the fourth-straight training camp where things aren't normal for Burrow.
