Zac Taylor on Joe Burrow's Mindset Amidst Contract Negotiations: 'Haven't Seen Any Change From Him'

Cincinnati opens training camp practices today.

CINCINNATI — Bengals head coach Zac Taylor couldn't avoid a question about Joe Burrow's contract in his latest press conference.

Taylor confirmed that the franchise quarterback is still the same hardworking teammate he's always been amidst the negotiations.

"Yeah, I haven't seen any change from him," Taylor said during his press conference. "I've seen the same guy with the same approach every day. He's in the building. Again, he's been here longer than most of the other veteran players because the quarterbacks came in early so I really liked the approach I've seen—that's not shocking to me."

Burrow is coming off a normal offseason and is tracking toward the first normal training camp of his career.

An upcoming season where he and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes are nearly tied for the top odds to win NFL MVP.
