Logan Wilson Posts Second Career Multi-Interception Game: 'Blessed Being in The Right Place at The Right Time'

Cincinnati capitalized on the turnovers in a 19-16 win over Los Angeles.

CINCINNATI — Logan Wilson, take a bow.

The best ball-hawking linebacker in the NFL continued proving that claim with a two-interception game on Monday Night Football. The picks added to his NFL-leading tally among linebackers and went a long way in the 19-16 win over Los Angeles.

His two picks, along with Dax Hill's breakout game (team-high eight tackles, one sack, two tackles for loss) fired plenty of RPMs into the Bengals winning engine.

Wilson now has two career games with multiple interceptions (two in a 24-10 win over Pittsburgh, in Sept. 2021)

“I’m blessed being in the right place at the right time and taking advantage of those opportunities when they come to you, because they’re rare in this league," Wilson said about the huge turnovers. "I’m big on, as many times that we can get the ball back to our offense, the better off we’re going to be.”

The defensive back chops are "never going to leave" Wilson as he and the Bengals can breathe a small (and fast) sigh of relief at 1-2. Still, it's a quick turnaround to face Tennessee on a short week.

“Yes, absolutely. You always want to get back in the win column," Wilson said about the importance of Monday night. "You don’t want to go 0-3 to start the season. Your chances of getting into the playoffs, obviously, are pretty slim. We understood that and we kind of viewed this as a game we needed to win anyway in front of our home crowd.”
