Winners and Losers From Cincinnati Bengals' 19-16 Win Over Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football

Cincinnati is 1-2 following the win over Los Angeles.
In this story:

CINCINNATI — The Bengals beat the Rams 19-16 on Monday night to pick up their first win of the season. Here are our winners and losers from the primetime matchup:

Winners

Joe Burrow

Burrow played through his calf strain to put the Bengals in position to win. He completed 26-of-49 for 259 yards and one interception.

The fact that he was out there and led the Bengals to victory puts him at the top of this list, even though he was clearly less than 100%.

Ja'Marr Chase

Chase finished with 12 receptions for 141 yards. He was just one reception shy of the Bengals' single game record. He also had a 43 yard catch, which is the Bengals' longest play of the season.

Entire Defense

Lou Anarumo's crew stepped up and played a great game. Logan Wilson had two interceptions, Trey Hendrickson had two sacks and the defense kept the Rams' offense in check all game long.

Cincinnati finished with six sacks. Dax Hill, Sam Hubbard, DJ Reader and BJ Hill also had sacks.

Losers

Tee Higgins

Higgins struggled on Monday night, catching just two of eight targets for 21 yards. The offense overcame Higgins' off night and there's no reason why he won't bounce back in his home state next week in Tennessee.
